On Friday, November 18th, the Mateel Community Center Board of Directors invites all to a very special evening as the community center is transformed into a 1930’s era vaudeville cabaret- complete with swanky atmosphere, a 9-course dinner by Chef Annika Hogan, and a presentation by Vaud & The Villains- a 19-piece New Orleans-style orchestra and variety show.

Dress to impress- and join us for a night of spectacular revelry. Doors will open at 5pm with a cocktail hour and the evening will unfold from here with the first-course of dinner at 6pm- followed by a 3-hour cavalcade of stage shows and gourmet culinary offerings. Dinner entertainment will provide a variety show of local talent with music by Skyline Swing with members of the Underscore Orkestra, comedy and dance. The evening will then culminate with dancing and a throwback New Orleans party-vibe as the-one-and-only Vaud & The Villains take to the stage at 9:30pm.

Offered in appreciation of and recruitment for lifetime membership- this new highbrow event will celebrate the benefits of Mateel Community Center membership and the larger programs and services it makes possible- plus offer a fun and easy platform to show the deepest level of membership support you can offer your community center.

Table seating is limited and priced at $200 per person- inclusive of dinner, beverage options, show, and a basic Mateel membership (or renewal for current members). And for you lifetime members who joined in 2016- or join now for $1000 as part of this campaign- your admission will be complimentary!

Chef Hogan’s menu will tempt with entrée choices that include pork tenderloin, halibut or wild mushrooms- along with 8 other delectable courses- including soup and salad, mixed hors d’oeuvres and appetizer plates, a fruit and cheese sampler, and a trio of desserts- plus 1 complimentary glass of champagne, 2 bottles of wine per table, and a post-dinner aperitif. And if you can’t swing the dinner, no worries- you can still catch Vaud & The Villains. Admission for this portion of the show is $25 ($20 for MCC members) with doors at 9pm and performance at 9:30!
