8.20.25 PUBLIC BOD Minutes Pleasure makes motion to approve minutes Julia Seconds all present approve

Office and Staff updates: we have had a few rentals since the last meeting, a funeral, and Nahko. Almost all the things from ROTR have been put away. Since the piano has been voted on we should send it to the Dump. Jason said it’s not fixable and a Biohazard due to the mouse droppings. Pleasure makes motion that we remove the baby grand piano and dump it, and keep the dolly possibly sold in the future, Lonnie seconds and all here are in favor. Motion passes. -there is a hole in the fence that needs to be repaired. It’s on Dusty’s side of the fence. -Bar needs casters installed so it can be moved and cleaned under. – The beam being milled will need help being moved soon.
Votes:KMUD- Halloween co-pro budget , motion passes.

-Ezekiel OBrien- Our lawyer recommends the board file a restraining order against Ezekiel, Motion passes.

Old Business: 5 minutes each

Don from Sylvandales Beautification of the Hall grounds, (suggested native plant list from Cheryl Lisin-link below)-Don couldn’t make it, pushed to the next meeting.
SHCP- Date hold update- the rodeo might have a hold on the park on June 21st so that is conflicting with the potential ROTR 26th date. – a lot of thing are up in the air, come back to this discussion.
Donate the Hall for Missoula Children’s Theater; Help’s on the Way will be producing it this year and would like to know if Mateel will donate the Hall, Pleasure makes a motion to give the hall to Missoula children’s theater, but for them to pay the resource fees. Lonny seconds it, all here in favor. Motion passes.
Dillon makes a motion to put a longer version of the disclaimer Casandra made. Lonny seconds, all in favor, motion passes

New Business: 5-10 minutes each

Trivia Night- Saturday November 8th- see Anna email -September 16-fundraiser for the library, Dillon, Pleasure and Elena will do trivia night, Dillon makes a motion to spend the 100$ on trivia night Julia seconds all here in favor, motion passes.
Estimate for both bar refrigerators- vote needed- see email from September 17th – 1800$ to repair both. Pleasure makes motion to get both our bar refrigerator up and working. Dillon seconds- Give Lonny a week Oct 1st before we pull the trigger on this. Everyone here in favor
Movie License- renew or not- Julia makes a motion to not renew our movie license, Pleasure seconds. All here in favor, motion passes.
PC – recommendations
Events and talents, we made 1500 on the Nahko rental, they have been working on the monster boogie for the Halloween copro with Kmud.
Two weekends ago at Shanon and Pleasure prairie creek national park one of our local artists created a mosaic Elk. Vinevent the state park fella wants to open up the conversation with the mateel about using Benbow state park.
