Announcements: 3 minutes each

  1. Approve minutes: 4.16.25 PUBLIC BOD Minutes Johny makes a motion Josh seconds, everyone here approves. 
  1. Office and Staff updates:very busy in the office leading up to steel pulse, busy with SAMF. Kmudd block party, was attended, steel pulse tickets and some memberships were approved. Rabbit and Cavies show is this weekend. Elena suggests having the cleaning bill increased on private parties. People volunteering are getting overworked in the kitchen. Steel Pulse was a hit and a lot of good times and memories. -Shanon suggested putting up a thanks to the community on the kiosk.
  2. Vote: all theses motions were passed ; Vote to offer Hall (for free) for SFHS cubs sports fundraiser – to give the chamber 2 ga ROTR tickets and 4 SAMF25 tickets for the firemen’s ball – pleasure made motion that we discount the leadership redwood coasts meeting at the hall, nicole will ask that they become members of the mateel motion passed.

******For the record the board had voted and said that the chamber was given GA tickets for ROTR, not VIP tickets. 

Old Business: 5 minutes each

  1. SAMF25-tanks at the Community park are full, Shannon suggests we find someone to tag them. Babette Bach will ask Ryan if he can do that. Shanon graded the road and filled potholes at CP. Reservation tank is full. Our grey water tanks from CLR have gone missing. Possibly picked up by the RR or BB crew, we need to locate. 
  2. ROTR25–pay attention to the dates and times of meetings. T-shirt are passed due. Get them in Now! 
  3. Battle of the Bands – pleasure makes a motion that we do not co-produce the event with helps on the way Johnny  Seconds.  All here, yes motion passes. 
  4. Missoula children’s theater- let helps on the way take the lead -elena sent an email about it, . We are all in favor of Helps on the Way taking over Missoula Childrens Theater.  We would like to help co-pro by offering the hall for free, and have an open discussion of how it will work.

New Business: 5-10 minutes each

  1. Security guard SOPs/protocols.(josh) In light of what happened last night, if we are paying for these guys that do security, they should have their guard card. They either pay for it or if we pay for it,we take funds out of their hours worked (increments out of the paycheck). They need to have training and credentials. ($55)- Pleasure makes a motion that all paid security personnel get a security guard card, Deadline it by September 1st. , Julia seconds everyone here in favor.

Public Comments 3 minutes;

  1. Babbette mentions “bonfire” which is a merch site that we could use to sell merch, it goes directly through them. -2 little kids were playing at the bar. -David hines is super stoked about the mateel, she mentions a foundation or legacy for childrens music by steel pulse(david hines)
  2. Small business owner Carly lambing, she stopped by to show us her sustainable silverware. Composting and other trash related conservation efforts.
