Friday, March 7: Check in 12 noon. Class 12:30-7:30 PM – Modules 1, 2 & 8

Sat. March 8: Doors open 8:30 AM. Class 9 AM-5:30 PM. Modules 3, 4 & 5

Sun. March 9: Doors open 8:30 AM. Class 9 AM-5:30 PM. Modules 6, 7 & 9, and Graduation

Nine modules in 23 hours of classroom activities: Disaster Preparedness, CERT Organization, Disaster Medical Operations, Disaster Psychology, Fire Safety, Light Search & Rescue, CERT & Terrorism Overview, Disaster Simulation and Skills Practice.

All course materials are included for the training. No participant fees required.

Graduates receive a starter backpack of equipment: hard hat, vest, gloves, kneepads, flashlight, eye protection and dust mask.

The Blue Lake Rancheria OES has allocated a portion of its state LISTOS grant funding for Southern Humboldt residents to be CERT trained. The Mateel Community Center is partnering with Humboldt CERT Coalition instructors who will lead participants in the nine training modules.

Register for the 3 day course or complete the 8-module online hybrid course and attend the one day skills practice session on Sunday 3/9 to graduate.
