- Board Announcements: most of the board has been to the FMT committee and is informed on the upcoming festivals. -Spray blackberries and poison oak with vinegar mix. -invite Rob and Jason to next meeting for sound board discussion.-Nick and Shanon set up stages for Dazey Days.

- Office and staff updates- time has been consumed with office upkeep and getting volunteers for ROTR24, Elena is also in-charge of the street team, she is looking for out of the area people for postering. -Elena is needing more volunteers for SAMF24, -Jameson is upping his crew to 20 people, and a few more paid individuals. -the shed needs to be cleaned again. Fridge needs to go or be fixed. -grill needs to be moved out of the shed. Building and grounds committee can handle the shed.

Approve minutes: 4.17.24 PUBLIC BOD Minutes Shanon makes a motion to approve minutes. Pleasure seconds, everyone here in favor.
- 4/20 Mateel Presents; the Annual Smoke Out community gathering and bbq and music by reggae artists Army and Soulmedic backed by the 7th Street Band.- Pleasure wants to recognize that Christy did Amazing in the kitchen. Sadly we didn’t make much of a return. The way we have run shows in the past isn’t going to work for the future. -it needs a revamp.
- 4/27 Southern Humboldt Fire Safe Council have a Fire Resources Fair-good attendance
- 5/9 Humboldt Workforce Coalition Job Fair- not well attended, but the sheriffs and CHP couldn’t show up because they were short staffed.
New Business: 5-10 minutes each
- Kmud Block Party parade; May 25th Float being worked on by Christy Augustine and Nick, and Shanon. Using Shanon’s golf cart. Julia will be Tabling the KMUD block party. Bruce is also helping/bringing a golf cart
- SAMF’24 ; Jonos grill in shed’ to be used for SAMF? -FMT meeting tomorrow at NON for SAMF
- ROTR’24 (Alisha): we are on track and looking good so far, would like more ticket sales, 6/6/24 is our hearing in eureka. Most of the ticket discussion will be had at the FMT meeting tomorrow. Photography and Drone pilot well be doing stuff for future content.
- Review signing protocols for large/unique contracts (Nate)-it is something we need to add to the policy and Bylaws. We need to have more oversight in the large and unique contract
- Drum circle; We would like to see a proposal for the drum circle workshop, once we get a proposal we will respond via email to our yays or nays.
- Last public meeting someone mentioned having more transparency. Shanon mentioned that we could do a youtube channel or an instagram feed, and facebook live.
