48th Annual Summer Arts & Music Festival Thank You Community

No Comments Archive Homepage

Southern Humboldt, CA – The Mateel Community Center is overflowing with gratitude as we celebrate the incredible success of our 48th Annual Summer Arts & Music Festival—held for the first time at its new home, the Southern Humboldt Community Park. What could have been a year of uncertainty became a powerful reminder of our community’s unity, resilience, and heart.

Bringing this festival to the Park was a longtime dream, and this year, it came to life thanks to a vision that started over 20 years ago. From our amazing handcrafted vendors who brought color and creativity, to the local and regional musicians who filled the air with rhythm and soul—we thank you.

To our volunteers, whose dedication powered every moment, and our staff and board, whose hard work and passion drove this vision—we’re deeply grateful. To the Southern Humboldt Community Park board and staff, thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful space and helping make this home feel like home.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors, whose support made this milestone possible. Redwoods Rural Health Center, Southern Humboldt Chamber of Commerce, Green Wired, Inner Bloom Wellness, In-Tents, Humboldt Homegrown, Humboldt Nation, Redwood Roots, Iron Horse Welding, We Dig It, Ray’s Quality Cars, Pacific Roots, Just Rent It, KMUD, Eureka Natural Foods, Los Bagels, Briceland Winery, Gyppo Ale Mill, Redwood Curtain, Frey Wine, Sierra Nevada, Hughston & Sons. Your investment in community, art, and culture made a lasting impact—we couldn’t have done it without you.

And to every person who attended, spread the word, or simply showed up with an open heart—you are the reason this festival thrives.

With gratitude,
The Mateel Community Center
