{"id":4464,"date":"2018-10-27T02:34:25","date_gmt":"2018-10-27T09:34:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mateel.org\/?p=4464"},"modified":"2018-11-09T02:59:30","modified_gmt":"2018-11-09T10:59:30","slug":"celebration-of-life-to-honor-sue-crellin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mateel.org\/?p=4464","title":{"rendered":"Nov. 3rd: Celebration of Life to honor Sue Crellin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Suzanne Choe Crellin 1970-2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Miranda, CA<\/p>\n<p>Sue Crellin, of Miranda, CA died unexpectedly from medical complications following a severe asthmatic attack on October 17, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Sue was born in Seoul, Korea on February 25, 1970 and orphaned on the street at age 7. She was adopted by Dr. Robert and Mrs. Gloria Limoges at age 10 and brought to the United States where she attended schools in Auburn, Maine, graduating from Edward Little High School in 1989.<\/p>\n<p>Following high school she was employed as a ski instructor in Park City, Utah before moving to Humboldt County, California. She loved the Humboldt lifestyle and decided to start a family here- giving birth to a daughter, Jasmine, in 1996 before meeting her husband, Justin, in 2000. They homesteaded a piece of land they shared in the community of Salmon Creek, got married in 2004, and gave birth to their son, Miles, in 2006. Sue loved living on the land and was an avid gardener and homemaker. Her fun loving, energetic, and fiery personality was truly one of a kind and brought light to those who knew her. A beautiful and generous soul, she will be deeply missed by her community as well as friends and family around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Sue is survived by her husband, Justin and son, Miles of Miranda, CA; daughter, Jasmine and granddaughter, Sofia of Phillipsville, CA; parents, Robert and Gloria Limoges of Poland Springs, ME; a brother, Bradford Limoges, of Golden, CO as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws. A service of life celebration will be held at the Mateel Community Center in Redway, CA on Saturday, November 3<sup>rd<\/sup> beginning at noon. All are welcome and food\/ drink will be served. Donations in her honor will be accepted to benefit the Mateel Community Center.
