E-40\u2019s 2006 single \u201cTell Me When To Go\u201d\u00a0 featuring Keak the Sneak was produced by multi-platinum selling Lil Jon and was one of the first singles to kick off the Bay Area-based \u201chyphy\u201d music movement on a global level, the song became a <i>RIAA<\/i> Gold certified single for sales.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Initially an underground artist as a founding member of rap group The Click, he released his first solo album IN A MAJOR WAY in 1995 and since that time E-40 has steadily maintained mainstream popularity performing extensively throughout the U.S.\u00a0 Originally from Vallejo, California, in 2016 the rapper released the two part album The D-BOY DIARY: BOOK 1 &amp; THE D-BOY DIARY: BOOK 2.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Clyde Carson<\/b> is a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rapping\"><span class=\"s1\">rapper<\/span><\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oakland,_California\"><span class=\"s1\">Oakland<\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/California\"><span class=\"s1\">California<\/span><\/a>. He was originally known as a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hip_hop_group\"><span class=\"s1\">hip hop group<\/span><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Team_%28band%29\"><span class=\"s1\">The Team<\/span><\/a>. After the group went on hiatus, he was the one member of the group to breakout as a solo artist. He would end up being signed to rapper <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Game_%28rapper%29\"><span class=\"s1\">The Game<\/span><\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Black_Wall_Street_Records\"><span class=\"s1\">Black Wall Street Records<\/span><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Capitol_Records\"><span class=\"s1\">Capitol Records<\/span><\/a> in 2006. While signed there he released the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Extended_play\"><span class=\"s1\">EP<\/span><\/a> <i>Doin&#8217; That<\/i>. However, he would not be signed to them for long, before deciding to go back to releasing music independently via Moe Doe Entertainment. After returning to just that label, he has released two EPs <i>Bass Rock<\/i> and <i>Playboy<\/i>. He is also well known for the song &#8220;Slow Down&#8221;, which was featured on the video game <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Grand_Theft_Auto_V\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>Grand Theft Auto V<\/i><\/span><\/a>.
