How much are tickets?
Presale tickets save $10 for the weekend ($40) or $25 for a one day pass

Is parking available?
Yes, all parking is within walking distance to the festival entrance.
There is ample parking available. We will also provide Pedicabs, disabled parking, drop-offs pick-ups and other options are available.

Is parking free?
We are trying to encourage people carpool a lot because we were unable to provide shuttles. All day parking is $20 and very close to the main bowl. Our intention is that the parking fee is small when shared between multiple occupants. No charge for drop offs or pickups.

Where can I find the stage schedules?
Stage Schedules at each stage and the Information Booth and here on the website.

Is there a list of Vendors?
Yes, Visit our Vendor page.

Is there onsite camping?
There is no onsite camping. Try these near by venues

  • Humboldt Redwoods Inn
  • Motel Garberville
  • The Northern Inn Motel
  • Inn of the Lost Coast
  • Best Western Plus Humboldt House Inn

Are there shuttles?
We really tried. Because of the ample onsite close to stage parking option the demand for a full bus does not justify the many tens of thousands of dollars or the environmental impact of regular shuttles that run mostly empty. We tried to get coverage for limited hours. We strongly encourage carpooling, rideshare, and public ride hail services. We have a dedicated free pick up and drop off area for Lyft, Uber, or any separately run shuttle service wishing to provide these services.

Are kids free?
This is a family event and 12 and under are free, a standard Mateel policy.

Can I bring in my own drinks?
Absolutely no outside beverages allowed of any sort. Empty water bottles may be filled onsite.

Can I bring my own food?
We have a large selection of delicious food vendors for you to support, but understand that people may have specific dietary or budget requirements.

Are coolers allowed?
No coolers will be allowed into the venue.

Are there onsite refillable water stations?
Yes, there will be filling stations available.

Is there cellular service?
Cellular service is not reliable.  The property has service when no one is there but phones do not work once people arrive. Text messaging usually works but not always. Expect not to have cell service.

Will swimming be allowed?
Swimming in this area is strongly discouraged. Summer Arts and Music festival grounds do not include the river. The festival does not provide any lifeguards or medical coverage of river areas. Any patron leaving festival grounds does so at their own risk.

Mateel is not liable for any loss of life and personal belongings. If you enter the water, you do so at your own risk and release the Mateel if any liability upon doing so.

Are dogs allowed?
No pets of any sort are allowed. Service animals are subject to the strictest guidelines allowable by law.

No internet services on festival grounds.

No, the festival grounds have abundant shade for us to enjoy.
