Mateel Community Lunch Program – Mateel Community Center

Serving hot lunch every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from Noon to 1pm, the Mateel Community Lunch Program is the Mateel Community Center’s most time-honored and vital social service program. Staff Liaison, April McCrady-Hirsch and Community Lunch Chef, Babette Bach, oversee the program and work tirelessly with a dedicated cadre of volunteers to serve more than 5000 meals annually. Big thanks to CalFresh for their continuing support of this program!

Mateel Community Center presents:TRY YOUTH Summer & Afterschool Program on Friday afternoons3:00-6pm Mateel Community Center, 59 Rusk Lane in RedwayAges 7-17Mateel Community Center Presents: Try Youth Kids Program Youth ages 7-17 are invited to the TRY YOUTH Summer and After School program. Throughout the summer and continuing into the fall, from 3 pm to 6pm every Friday, the doors of the Mateel will be open to area youth to attend the TRY YOUTH program. TRY YOUTH programming will include arts and crafts like tie die and prints for arts & crafts plus painting on canvas plus jewelry making and more. The game room is open for pool and ping pong, bocce ball for outside play. TRY YOUTH programming also includes a music, dance and voice demo.
