2015 Hemp Fest Poster

The 25th Annual Humboldt Hemp Fest!

What: An Annual Celebration of Cannabis and all things Hemp - featuring various artists, vendors, speakers, and performers.
When: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, November 13th, 14th, & 15th, 2015 / Times will vary each day
Where: Mateel Community Center
Tickets: TBA / Each Day's Details Will Vary

~ 2015 SPONSORSHIP submissions now being taken!

The festival features a variety of speakers, vendors, and performers sure to extol the many virtues of the hemp plant.  Usually open from 11am until late with a suggested donation at the door. Friday traditionally features an evening only comedy kick-off event; Saturday the main all-day event with speakers, dancers, and music; and Sunday an interactive forum with the possibility of an evening entertainment finale. Winter Arts Festival

2014 Winter Arts Faire Poster

The 39th Annual Winter Arts Faire

What: The 38th Annual Holiday Craft and Christmas Entertainment Celebration!
When: 2015 Date TBA / Usually in Early December / 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Mateel Community Center
Why: Celebrate the holidays & support local creative vendors, handcraft artisans, and non-profits!
Tickets: Usually $5 General Admission at the Door / Free to MCC Members!

Showcasing the diverse wares of more than 50 handcraft artisans, the Winter Arts Faire is southern Humboldt's premier holiday art and craft extravaganza. A great way to welcome the winter months, the annual event takes place in Early December each year features live music by local performers, wintertime food and drink, children's storytelling, and a visit from Santa.  The event also serves as a drop off location for Toys For Tots and the Humboldt Food Bank. Open 10am to 6pm both days with Santa dropping in!

Summer Arts and Music Poster

The 40th Anniversary Summer Arts and Music Festival

What: The Most Comprehensive Celebration of Art & Music on the North Coast
When: Summer 2016 / Dates & Times TBA (usually the first weekend after memorial day)
Where: Benbow Lake State Recreation Area (2 miles south of Garberville, CA)

Two Days of Music & Entertainment on FOUR Stages!

Returning in 2016 to the banks of the Eel River at Benbow Lake State Recreation Area in southern Humboldt, the Summer Arts & Music Festival will once again live up its reputation as the most comprehensive and affordable celebration of arts and entertainment on the North Coast. 

In 2015 the Summer Arts and Music Festival made Fest 300's list of "15 Transformational Festivals to Attend in 2015", the Summer Arts and Music Festival offers a host of delights for the ears, eyes, body, mind and soul.

Taking place at the height of summer on the banks of the beautiful South Eel River, and surounded by the stunning greenery of Humboldt County's majestic redwoods, this beloved anuual event features:

Join us at the height of Summer in 2016 for 32nd Annual Celebration of th Annual Reggae On The River™ Music Festival at French's Camp in Piercy, CA. Set before a backdrop of ancient redwoods on the banks of the majestic Eel River, this anualcelebration of the best in reggae and world music has been a favorite festival tradition for over a quarter century and offers attendees an opportunity to soak up the irie northern Cali vibes while enjoying a diverse array of top-class international artists, vendors, and kids activities in a family friendly environment.

The 12th Annual Humboldt Hoedown

What: A Folk, Bluegrass, and Harvest Jam To Remember!
When: Usually all day Saturday, Late September 2016
Where: Mateel Community Center
Tickets: TBA

A down-home celebration of bluegrass & harvest time, the 12th annual Humboldt Hoedown will return to the Mateel Community Center in 2016. It customarily features a variety of world-class and local performers on two stages, along with vendors, a kid zone, petting zoo, country games, jamming opportunities, and lots of fun for the whole family.
