Winter Arts FaireAfter the success of their first “Summer Arts Faire” in December of 1976, a group of newly arrived, back-to-the-land hippies, along with a smattering of locals, put together a crafts fair at the old Firemen’s Hall in Garberville and called it “Winter Arts Faire”. It’s moved up the road a stretch since then to the Mateel Community Center in Redway, and now in it’s 43rd year.
