Location: The Mateel Community Center, 59 Rusk Lane, Redway CA  

Description: Hot Buttered Rum Halloween Masquerade Ball, October 30, 2021 

Event Plan and COVID-19 Protocols: 

  • All activities will be compliant with local and state covid or related protocols.
  • All staff, vendors, talent and attendees will be required to present proof of vaccinations or a negative covid test within 72 hours of the event. Rapid/antigen covid tests or PCR/ tests will be accepted. 
  • A number of rapid/antigen covid tests will be available at the event for a suggested sliding scale donation of $10.00, but donation not required for testing. Those who need to obtain a covid test from MCC on the day of the event will be asked to stay in a separate area until a negative test result is obtained. 
  • All persons attending the event, including but not limited to staff, vendors, talent, and attendees will be asked to respond to U.S. Center for Disease Control (“CDC”) screening questions prior to admittance into the event. 
  • All persons attending the event, including but not limited to staff, vendors, talent, and attendees will submit to a temperature scan prior to entering the facility. Anyone measured to fall outside of CDC temperature guidelines will be denied entry. 
  • All staff, volunteers and attendees will be required to wear masks while they are indoors in compliance 
  • with County and state guidelines. 
  • A Safety Monitor will be designated during the event to monitor compliance with this Covid-19 Event Plan. 
  • At least one person will be designated as a “spray fairy” to disinfect high touch surfaces throughout the event (in addition to constant disinfection by the kitchen and bar staff). 
  • Signs requiring that masks be worn except while eating or drinking will be prominently displayed on all entrances. 
  • Additional disposable masks will be available at no cost at all entrances. 
  • Hand sanitizer will be available in each area of the event.
