The Mateel Community Center presents the 44th annual Summer Arts & Music Festival, June 6-7 2020 at Benbow State Recreation Area 2 miles south of Garberville. The event features over 70 performances on four stages including regional bands, dance troupes, DJ’s and children’s entertainers, 150 handmade craft, food and non-profit booths, a Kids Zone, Generation Green Area, & Bellydance Temple. All of these festival offerings are set against the backdrop of the ancient redwoods along the majestic Eel River. Kids 12 and under are offered free admission. 

The 44th edition of the event voted “the best music festival in Humboldt” (North Coast Journal 2015 & 2016 ) is a fundraiser for non-profit Mateel Community Center.
